Final Meeting - Teachers' Meeting 28.02.2021

It was a real pleasure to work with all of the teachers and students involved in the project. There was something I've learnt from all of you. Thank you for being so communicative, caring and supportive. It was the first time I was on an etwinning project and thanks to you it won't be the last one! But believe me when I say that I will never forget this experience and the way this project and all the amazing people involved in it made me and my students feel. You made us feel more than welcome and taught us how to use so many useful web 2.0 tools. Thank you all! Thank you Șerife for giving us the opportunity to be part of your dream project and thank you Sule for all the work, collaboration and support you gave us all!

These two collages explain better what our last meeting meant for all of us. It was a meeting full of amazing surprises: two representative songs of our partners's countries, acrostic poems with each partner's name, posters about all the partners involved in the project, final evaluation on Blooket and video messages sent by the partners to our two project coordinators. 😍💗

We do the evaluation meeting, of the Start writing no matter what, 20 and 23 of February a project with the students! It was another fantastic time to work with the students who were part of this team. It is very gratifying to see students, still very young, very committed and dedicated to carrying out work with international teams.

I think that the teaching and dedication that students demonstrate are pillars in the construction of personality, values, a sense of life and future. Education must have this closeness component, uniting ideas, cultures, different perspectives , and letting students think for themselves, reflect and, in the multiplicity and multiculturality different ways of being, discover themselves as people with a responsible role in world.

And this responsibility is born when other means are known, other ways of acting, other models of teaching and learning. How captivating it is to realize that it is the students who implement new paths and ideas and expand our humanity. The students bring on their smiling faces, their words and attitudes, that unique desire to learn and develop in the multiplicity of ideas that they present to each other.

With them, we have to praise the families that accompany them and allow their children to participate in these enriching and pioneering projects. If the parents did not allow it, did not believe in it, these meetings would not exist and I believe that the world would be poorer without this desire and will that families and students present.

With students and families, integrated in this group, and in a very close way, are the teachers who guide, accompany and, with humility, try to show students that they can imagine and emphasize ideas, thinking, constructive criticism, they can discovering different cultures, other forms of learning and, above all, enriching what they are and, with that discovering and learning, draw the lines of a future interventionist life in society and in respect for others and in the responsible values ​​of social solidarity and, today, and increasingly, environmental responsibility.

We may even think that sometimes what we do is not enough. But I know that if we did nothing it would be even less and, even in the smallest way, we are transforming a lot, leaving models and ideas that change students forever, make them smile and believe.
