Final Meeting - Teachers' Meeting 28.02.2021

It was a real pleasure to work with all of the teachers and students involved in the project. There was something I've learnt from all of you. Thank you for being so communicative, caring and supportive. It was the first time I was on an etwinning project and thanks to you it won't be the last one! But believe me when I say that I will never forget this experience and the way this project and all the amazing people involved in it made me and my students feel. You made us feel more than welcome and taught us how to use so many useful web 2.0 tools. Thank you all! Thank you Șerife for giving us the opportunity to be part of your dream project and thank you Sule for all the work, collaboration and support you gave us all!

These two collages explain better what our last meeting meant for all of us. It was a meeting full of amazing surprises: two representative songs of our partners's countries, acrostic poems with each partner's name, posters about all the partners involved in the project, final evaluation on Blooket and video messages sent by the partners to our two project coordinators. 😍💗

We do the evaluation meeting, of the Start writing no matter what, 20 and 23 of February a project with the students! It was another fantastic time to work with the students who were part of this team. It is very gratifying to see students, still very young, very committed and dedicated to carrying out work with international teams.

I think that the teaching and dedication that students demonstrate are pillars in the construction of personality, values, a sense of life and future. Education must have this closeness component, uniting ideas, cultures, different perspectives , and letting students think for themselves, reflect and, in the multiplicity and multiculturality different ways of being, discover themselves as people with a responsible role in world.

And this responsibility is born when other means are known, other ways of acting, other models of teaching and learning. How captivating it is to realize that it is the students who implement new paths and ideas and expand our humanity. The students bring on their smiling faces, their words and attitudes, that unique desire to learn and develop in the multiplicity of ideas that they present to each other.

With them, we have to praise the families that accompany them and allow their children to participate in these enriching and pioneering projects. If the parents did not allow it, did not believe in it, these meetings would not exist and I believe that the world would be poorer without this desire and will that families and students present.

With students and families, integrated in this group, and in a very close way, are the teachers who guide, accompany and, with humility, try to show students that they can imagine and emphasize ideas, thinking, constructive criticism, they can discovering different cultures, other forms of learning and, above all, enriching what they are and, with that discovering and learning, draw the lines of a future interventionist life in society and in respect for others and in the responsible values ​​of social solidarity and, today, and increasingly, environmental responsibility.

We may even think that sometimes what we do is not enough. But I know that if we did nothing it would be even less and, even in the smallest way, we are transforming a lot, leaving models and ideas that change students forever, make them smile and believe.

My mixed country team: Miraç, Ayșe, Nazli Su and Zehra. 
We had a meeting on Zoom on 20th February 2021. At the beginning of the meeting, we did a brainstorming on WordArt about the students' experience and activities. The link to our WORDART

The colorful hands represent the different and varied students who joined the project and also their needs, originality, creativity and interests reflected during the different activities they had to do since October 2020.

During the meeting, the students were interviewed and assessed on the activities of the project. At the end of the meeting, on menti.com, students have suggested 4 slogans and voted for one.

Final Meeting with Students in mixed country team

Our Final Meeting with Ss have been arranged on 20.02.2021 at 16:00 Cet on Zoom meeting. From my mixed country team, Saliha Nehir from Ebru's Team, Maria Joao from Portugal,Marysia From Poland have joined my meeting. I made interview with them and they were very happy and satisfied with joining our project. They have improved their writing skills thanks to the project

 

Our common story - Modern Version of Cinderella

 We decided to write the modern version of Cinderella after voting process by students.We determined the order of partner schools to write their parts.It is now being created one by one.Partner schools either discuss and write at schools or on Zoom meetings.

Right now Diana 's team is online to collaborate.

We had teachers meeting for planning February month activities

 We as teachers gathered and discussed about the activities we will do this month.We will have students chatroom activity on 9th of February about Safer Internet Day.

We will teach them to write diaries this month.They will write with pen or Web 2 tools.

We also determined the dates of final meetings for students and teachers.

The Coordinators grup of "Start Writing no Matter What" finished another meeting.

This project has allowed our students to develop many skills and abilities. It has also provided an opportunity to further our knowledge and comprehension about different cultures. All our students are very happy to work with all of you!

My students are working on our common comic book

 We made a zoom meeting to discuss about what to write on our comic part.In the online meeting it was determined that each school will write a part and we are the 4th to write.

This is the part my students wrote all together.Miraç is the class representative of the team.He led his friends and shared the result with the responsible teacher Şerife Ünal Seyran.

Common Comics Book "Adventure"

  "Start writing no matter what " started to write a common comics book "Adventure". Every county wrote its story in turns and tried to continue the story which had been stared by the previous qroup. Great effort ws put on the comics book by our students from different countries.  Thanks to our great team a wonderful book was created.
